About the Role
As an Advisory Board member, you will:
Guide Strategy: Provide annual input on the journal's vision and direction.
Mentor Authors: Serve as a Handling Editor for 1-2 video submissions per year, guiding creators through our collaborative, public peer-review process.
Amplify Voices: Play a key role in nurturing new scholarship and diverse global storytellers.
Expand Our Reach: Help connect the journal with new communities, contributors, and partners.
This is a voluntary role designed for meaningful yet manageable engagement, with flexible levels of involvement.
Who We're Looking For
We welcome expressions of interest from:
Established & emerging scholars in linguistics, language studies, digital humanities, and related fields.
Practitioners and artists experienced in digital storytelling, documentary, or media production.
Leaders in publishing, community engagement, or open scholarship who believe in the power of story to create change.
